The World Haidong Gumdo Federation (WHDGDF) was exclusively established in July, 1982, based on the origin of history, ideology, technique and training system, advocating.
| 1961 | President Jeong Ho Kim had been initiated in the Art by Grand Master Baek San Jang. |
| July 1982 | Established the first training center in Anyang, Kyungkido. |
| April 1983 | Established Korean Haidong Gumdo Association headquarters in Seoul. |
| May 1989 | Registered Korean Haidong Gumdo Association. |
| February 1993 | Announced for the first time in Korean martial arts newspaper. |
| January 1994 | Devise a plan to building worldwide martial art training centers. |
| August 1995 | EBS Educational Broadcasting on Haidong Gumdo Martial Art. |

In November of 1996 the World Haidong Gumdo Federation established itself outside of South Korea, popularized exclusively in 51 Countries/ Organized 31 Associates worldwide/ Registered Licensed "Haidong Gumdo" in 20 countries/ Organized 1,200 School/ Hosted 100 Demonstration and Seminar/ 3 World Haidong Gumdo Championship were.
Haidong Gumdo is licensed and registered in 20 Counties included the United States and Europe. This authentic martial art has been popular in 51 countries worldwide.
A Hall of Martial Artists Worldwide, MUDOWON

A hall for martial artists worldwide is designed to be a center for learning for all martial artists.
Also, it will be a cultural heritage to hand down from generation to generation and be a place for dedicated Haidong Gumdo leaders to find solace in declining years.
